Welcome to BORN TO HUNT SAFARI’S our headquarters are in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. From here we conduct hunting safari’s over vast areas, covering more than one million acres of beautiful countryside. We also offer hunting in Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia.
We have access to some of the most unspoilt areas, with an abundance of good quality trophies. In the Eastern Cape alone, we have 36 species to hunt. We support the fair chase principle of hunting.
Through hospitality, integrity and the highest level of service, BORN TO HUNT SAFARI’S is able to offer our international clients the prime safari destination in Southern Africa.
To reach your destination, fly into South Africa landing either at Johannesburg or Cape Town International Airport. A connecting flight will bring you to Port Elizabeth, which is the closest city to the base lodge. In Port Elizabeth you will be met by one of our guides who will then drive you to the lodge.
At Born to Hunt Safaris we really try our very best to make your trip and your experience of Africa with us a pleasant one. We enjoy having family groups and make provision for sight seeing and shopping trips.
Sunday is our day to take a breather – no hunting, no charge – just relax, read, take walks, watch video’s, etc.
All our guides are highly professional. They will do that extra bit to ensure you get the best service possible. They have extensive hunting background, know the ways of the animals and will be very good company during the hunt.
Our area is free of tropical diseases, like malaria. However should you wish to visit other parts of the country it is advisable to consult your local travel advisory to confirm the malaria status of the area. Despite the main hunting season being in the colder months of the year, we are fortunate to have mild winters with the occasional temperature drop when a cold front passes. The temperature ranges from 32 to 71 degrees Fahrenheit during winter ( April – August ). During summer you will experience temperatures from 49 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
There is risk involved in safari hunting, especially where dangerous game are concerned. Whilst we endeavour to maintain all reasonable care for the safety of our clients, we will not accept responsibility for any injuries incurred as a result thereof.
